I’m a Seattle-based UX/UI designer with 5+ years of experience building thoughtful, user-centered apps, websites, and SaaS products. I care deeply about collaboration, user-empathy, and creating solutions that solve real problems.
My Story
I spent my childhood in Germany! Entering the country without knowing a single word in German, art quickly emerged as my favorite subject, serving not only as a creative outlet but also as a means of connecting with others. Creating art became an essential part of my life, including at home where I loved making comic books and collaborating on fantasy lands with my siblings. While initially challenging, life in Germany ultimately fostered within me a deep appreciation for travel and a curiosity about other cultures. Even today, my time in Germany shapes my love for exploration and provides ongoing design inspiration.
In 2019, I graduated with double honors at Cedarville University with my degree in Industrial & Innovative Design. It was here I learned to use design thinking to take on a range of design challenges, from automotive design to landscape architecture and more!
After graduation, I joined AmeriCorps and served as a design intern with a non-profit architecture firm. My experience there inspired me to find creative solutions focusing on the needs of the client: emphasizing their mission and culture while considering the budget and environmental impact. During this time, I also discovered my talent and passion for visual design. These strengths, along with my values for research and collaboration stemming from my Industrial Design degree, are what led me to UX design.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I enrolled in DesignLab's Design 101 course and their UX Academy bootcamp. The transition was a joyful experience, with each project bringing more confidence and confirmation that this is the field I want to give my all in.
After completing my UX program, I landed my first full-time role as a Junior Product Designer at Netchex. Over the next four years on the product team, I was promoted to Associate Product Designer, received Employee of the Month recognition, and continued developing my craft through several certification programs.

Along the way, life had a few side quests too: I moved back to the Pacific Northwest, adopted a dwarf hamster, and married my wonderful husband. After leaving Netchex in February, I’m now looking for my next opportunity to make a meaningful impact while continuing to grow as a product designer.
And the story continues!
